Despite facing various unfavorable factors such as repeated outbreaks of the pandemic, chip shortages, and geopolitical conflicts, China's automotive production and sales in 2022 reached 27.021 million and 26.864 million vehicles, respectively, with year-on-year growth rates of 3.4% and 2.1% [1]. With 131 new car models released, a 10% increase compared to the previous year, major manufacturers are actively iterating their products, indicating that the competition in the consumer market remains intense. Shortening the product design cycle is still an effective means to seize market share. Therefore, building a platform-based and digitalized research and development system is an essential guarantee to shorten the development cycle, reduce research and development costs, and enhance product quality and competitiveness.

As one of the four major vehicle components, the design and manufacturing process of body parts are of utmost importance in the automotive product development process. The development of a vehicle body is an iterative process that involves repeated optimization and modification of its components, requiring a significant amount of time. In the rapidly evolving global digital technology environment, the development and production technology of complex vehicle bodies are gradually moving towards automation, integration, and intelligence. By improving the efficiency of model generation and editing during the component modification iteration process through computer-aided design [2], the efficiency of body development can be enhanced, ultimately increasing the competitiveness of the enterprise
