The research group has been investigating the distinctive structure of the rod-shaped secondary building unit (ROD-SBU) and organic ligand-assembled ROD-MOF. The ROD-MOF typically exhibits pore distribution in the same direction due to the one-dimensional chain arrangement of metal ions and ligand coordination. Materials possessing well-defined pores are generally favorable for mass transfer, which is advantageous not only for gas adsorption but also for facilitating mass transfer in catalytic reactions. This chapter describes the synthesis of a dual-core silver rod-shaped secondary building unit and bidentate triazole ligand-based Ag-ROD framework material, and its application in the field of electrocatalytic CO2RR is studied.
