The online sales channel has expanded the sales channels for organic food. However, Chinese online fresh food platforms currently have low appeal to consumers, and many online fresh food platforms are experiencing losses and poor profitability. Therefore, this article explores the influencing factors on consumers' willingness to purchase organic food on online fresh food platforms from the perspective of perceived value, with organic food as the main research object, taking into account age differences, and thus establishes a theoretical model. We surveyed consumers who purchase organic food on online fresh food platforms and collected 600 valid data. The results show that platform factors, including information quality, system quality, evaluation system, platform service quality, and product traceability information, organic labeling, and ingredient information in the promotion of products on the platform, have the most significant impact on consumers' perceived utilitarian and hedonic values. Perceived value plays a crucial mediating role in consumers' purchase intentions. Finally, based on our research, we suggest that online fresh food platforms improve their evaluation systems, while highlighting ingredient information, organic labeling, and traceability information in promoting organic food.
