Longitudinal Assessment of EORTC QLU-C10D in Breast Cancer Patients: Reliability, Responsiveness, and Cultural Adaptability

The EORTC QLU-C10D is an innovative preference-based measure specifically designed for cancer patients. Previous studies have examined the measurement properties of 3L, 5L, and C10D, but these studies were all cross-sectional. To gain a more comprehensive understanding of the measurement properties of QLU-C10D and to explore the advantages of both the generic scale 5L and the cancer-specific scale C10D in breast cancer patients, this study was designed as a longitudinal investigation to evaluate the reliability and responsiveness of C10D. Additionally, this study utilized culturally adapted value sets for C10D and 5L in China, enhancing their suitability for Chinese patients. By doing so, the scales become more targeted and capable of accurately assessing the condition and treatment effects of Chinese patients, while simultaneously ensuring the reliability and comparability of the collected data.
