This study focuses on EORTC QLU-C10D, a cancer-specific preference-based measure. Prior research comparing the measurement properties of 3L, 5L, and C10D has been limited to cross-sectional designs. To gain a deeper understanding of QLU-C10D's measurement properties and explore the advantages of both the generic 5L and cancer-specific C10D scales in breast cancer patients, this study was conducted as a longitudinal investigation. The study evaluated the reliability and responsiveness of C10D. Notably, the study employed culturally adapted value sets for C10D and 5L in China, enhancing the scales' relevance and accuracy in assessing the condition and treatment outcomes of Chinese patients. This approach ensures data reliability and comparability while tailoring the scales to the specific needs of the Chinese population.
