The overall structure of the feedback amplifier chain SPUF proposed in this article is shown in Figure 1. It consists of four main parts, including the entropy source generator, entropy source quantizer, digital controller, and drive buffer. The entropy source generator module is composed of n cascaded stages, each with m A-Type amplifiers controlled by input excitation, capable of nonlinearly combining different entropy source units based on external excitation. The entropy source quantization module consists of a fixed B-Type amplifier chain, which converts the analog voltage output from the entropy source generator module into preliminary digital form. Finally, the output response is obtained by passing through the drive buffer module.
