The purpose of this paper is to investigate the website globalization practices of 147 "Guangdong Famous Export Brands of the Year 2017" from both linguistic and cultural perspectives. With the increasing number of Chinese brands entering the global market, many are utilizing multilingual websites to reach a wider audience. Through analyzing the websites of these brands, it is discovered that English plays a dominant role in cross-border business communication. However, the level of globalization varies among the brands, and there is room for improvement in creating culturally customized websites that align with the target market's culture. This paper provides insight into the adaptation of Guangdong brands to the global market and highlights the opportunities and challenges presented by the internet.
