道德经全文翻译如下：

道德经

道可道，非常道；名可名，非常名。

无名天地之始；有名万物之母。

故常无欲，以观其妙；常有欲，以观其徼。

此两者，同出而异名，同谓之玄。

玄之又玄，众妙之门。

天下皆知美之为美，斯恶已；皆知善之为善，斯不善已。

故有无相生，难易相成，长短相形，高下相盈，音声相和，前后相随。

恒也。

是以圣人处无为之事，行不言之教；万物作焉而不辞，生而不有。

为而不恃，功成而弗居。

夫唯弗居，是以不去。

1. 道可道，非常道；名可名，非常名。

The Tao that can be spoken is not the eternal Tao; The name that can be named is not the eternal name.

2. 无名天地之始；有名万物之母。

The nameless is the beginning of heaven and earth; The named is the mother of all things.

3. 故常无欲，以观其妙；常有欲，以观其徼。

Therefore, always be without desire in order to observe its wonder; Always have desire in order to observe its manifestations.

4. 此两者，同出而异名，同谓之玄。

These two are the same in origin but different in name. This is the mystery.

5. 玄之又玄，众妙之门。

The mystery within the mystery is the door to all wonders.

6. 天下皆知美之为美，斯恶已；皆知善之为善，斯不善已。

All in the world know the beauty of the beautiful, yet this is only ugliness; All know the good of the good, yet this is only evil.

7. 故有无相生，难易相成，长短相形，高下相盈，音声相和，前后相随。

Therefore, existence and non-existence produce each other; Difficult and easy complete each other; Long and short shape each other; High and low fill each other; Sound and silence harmonize each other; Before and after follow each other.

8. 恒也。

The Tao is always present.

9. 是以圣人处无为之事，行不言之教；万物作焉而不辞，生而不有。

Therefore, the sage acts without action, teaches without words; All things arise and he does not refuse them, he brings them to life but does not possess them.

10. 为而不恃，功成而弗居。

He works without attachment to the result, accomplishes his task but does not dwell on it.

11. 夫唯弗居，是以不去。

Because he does not dwell on it, he remains.
