When I was a boy, my father often took me to the park on Sundays. One of the things we enjoyed doing together was feeding the ducks. We would take a bag of bread and sit by the pond for hours. During the winter, the pond often froze over and the ducks would fly south.

One winter, when I was about ten years old, we went to the park and found that the pond had frozen over. There were no ducks in sight. I was disappointed and turned to my father and asked, "Where have all the ducks gone?"

My father thought for a moment and replied, "The ducks have gone south for the winter."

As we walked back to the car, I thought about what my father had said. I realized that the world was a huge place and that there were many things I had yet to discover. I wanted to see the ducks in the south and experience all the wonders of the world.

Years later, when I was in college, I decided to study abroad in Australia. I was excited to explore a new country and see all the amazing things it had to offer. I remember my first day in Sydney, standing on the beach and looking out at the vast ocean. I felt small and insignificant, but also excited for all the adventures that lay ahead.

Now, as an adult, I have traveled to many places and seen many wonders of the world. But I still remember that moment in the park with my father, when I first realized that there was a whole world out there waiting to be discovered.
