This article focuses on primary school mathematics teachers and students, and uses professional knowledge of course ideology and politics and primary school mathematics teaching to study the problems and methods of integrating ideology and politics into primary school mathematics. Firstly, the research background of integrating ideology and politics into primary school mathematics teaching is clarified. Then, through inquiry and investigation of primary school mathematics teachers and students, the existing problems of integrating ideology and politics into primary school mathematics teaching are collected and summarized. Next, the reasons for the existing problems are analyzed. Finally, feasible methods for solving the problems of integrating ideology and politics into primary school mathematics teaching are provided based on practical application.
