QLU-C10D and EQ-5D-5L in Chinese Breast Cancer Patients: Correlation, Validity, and QALY Calculation

To summarize, there is a certain correlation and similar convergent validity between C10D and 5L. When it comes to attribute validation measurement, C10D demonstrates good test-retest reliability and responsiveness in the improvement group. However, in Chinese breast cancer patients, the advantages of QLU-C10D as a cancer-specific scale are not fully evident. This is shown by the obtained RE values, which are all less than 1, indicating that EQ-5D-5L is more efficient than C10D. Therefore, while QLU-C10D exhibits good measurement properties as a cancer-specific scale, the choice of QALY calculation should be based on specific circumstances or by comparing multiple scales to ultimately determine the optimal solution.
