In project B, my team and I designed an underwater flying device for cleaning ship hulls, providing a new solution to the time-consuming, labor-intensive, and pollution-prone problems of existing cleaning methods. In my graduation project, I established a mathematical planning model, solved it using a genetic algorithm based on the elite preservation strategy, programmed it using MATLAB, and conducted numerical experiments to verify that the proposed yard crane scheduling model and algorithm can effectively improve the working efficiency of yard cranes and reduce yard costs. Through these research and innovation processes, I have experienced the journey from having a research idea, to constructing a model, to experiencing the application of optimization algorithms in simulation. These experiences have been extremely interesting to me. I believe that innovative thinking coupled with engineering practical skills can bring more richness and diversity to our world.
