The distinction between the notation used in Equation (2), (3), and (4) has indeed caused confusion, and we appreciate the opportunity to address it. In Equation (2) and (3), the notation 'f' represents the Hertz unit, while in Equation (4), we use 'f()' to denote the list of Mel-spaced frequencies. To eliminate any ambiguity, we have made the necessary modification by changing the equation number of Equation (4) to Equation (4'). This adjustment ensures consistency and clarity throughout the paper.
