I am currently a Research Assistant Professor at the School of Data Science, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen (CUHK-SZ). Before taking the current position, I worked for two years at SenseTime Research, the leading AI software company in China, as a Senior Researcher. My research focuses on developing deep learning algorithms that enable machines and devices to solve complex computer vision tasks with greater autonomy while also understanding the foundations of deep learning algorithms. Since joining CUHK-SZ, my team has been dedicated to developing intelligent agents that can effectively collaborate with humans in dynamic environments. My experience in both industry and academia has given me the opportunity to get to know many young candidates, and based on what I have seen, Chengzhi is a highly promising student in the field of artificial intelligence.
