With the development of the times, people's aesthetic needs for architecture and clothing are constantly changing. Modern architectural concepts emphasize simplicity, practicality, beauty, and environmental protection, which have a great inspiration for wedding dress design. As a special kind of clothing, wedding dresses not only need to satisfy aesthetics and fashion sense, but also need to have a sense of ceremony and mystery. Therefore, integrating modern architectural concepts into wedding dress design can bring a new visual and aesthetic experience, and also promote innovation and development in wedding dress design. This paper aims to explore the design expression of modern architectural sustainable concepts in wedding dresses, provide new ideas and methods for wedding dress design, and provide a new field for the application of modern architectural concepts. Traditional wedding dresses, as non-daily formal wear, have complicated workmanship, high prices, and are "worn only once in a lifetime", causing cost increase and resource waste. Through research and study of sustainable design and wedding dress theory and cases, this paper summarizes some wedding dress design methods and laws from a theoretical perspective, and combines theoretical achievements with innovative applications in graduation design works to show new possibilities for wedding dresses. The design thinking and design expression of aesthetic principles of sustainable design under modern architectural concepts transform the contradiction between the sustainability and comfort of clothing into a win-win situation, and explore the deeper spiritual needs, emphasizing the green concept of the connotation and characteristics of clothing, and further realizing the desire for harmonious coexistence between human and nature.
