This paper analyzes the characteristics of filleted surfaces in complex body parts and identifies the problems that arise during the editing of these surfaces. A simplified model of the complex filleted surface is designed and optimized to provide a solution for editing filleted surfaces. The software tool is developed and tested using interfaces such as NXOpen API, UFun, Block UI Styler, and Menu script on the Siemens NX platform. Although this paper uses NX as the software development system, the filleted surface editing solution proposed in this paper is also applicable to other software platforms.
