Enclave refers to a territory or a group of people that is surrounded by a larger group or territory but is separate from it in terms of culture, language, religion, or political affiliation. Enclaves can exist within a country or between countries. For instance, the Vatican City is an enclave within Italy, and Lesotho is an enclave within South Africa.
