Interaction of O-isopropyl-N-ethyl Thionocarbamate with Copper Sulfide Surfaces: An XPS Study
X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) studies have shown that the sulfur (S) in the collector, O-isopropyl-N-ethyl thionocarbamate (IPETC), interacts directly with the copper (Cu) on the metal or mineral surface. Under acidic conditions, IPETC exhibits higher adsorption on copper surfaces, while under alkaline conditions, its adsorption is relatively lower.
