Intel NUC 7 (NUC7PJYH) Video Output Issue and Upcoming HDMI Switch Solutions

Regarding the Intel NUC 7 (NUC7PJYH), we've found that it does not output video signals unless a monitor is detected. Therefore, it's necessary to manually select the corresponding NUC 7 input port and perform a shutdown and restart in order to display the screen.

We'd like to inform you that most HDMI switches available in the market currently rely on detecting HDMI 5V signals to activate the auto-switch function. However, we are actively working on developing high-end models that will have automatic switching capabilities based on TMDS signal detection. These models are expected to be released in the upcoming months.
