The Moderating Role of Safety Climate in the Relationship Between Perceived Organizational Support and Construction Workers' Safety Behavior
This study reveals that safety climate positively moderates the relationship between perceived organizational support and construction workers' safety behavior. When construction workers perceive favorable safe construction conditions and a secure work environment, they experience the organization's commitment to safety, leading to a feeling of being supported. This, in turn, enhances their safety awareness, prompting them to consciously adhere to safety rules and regulations, comply with safety production codes, and utilize tools and equipment safely. This study elucidates the underlying mechanism linking perceived organizational support and construction workers' safety behavior, providing a theoretical foundation for further research on their relationship.
