This study investigates the expression analysis of VcWOX genes in blueberry (Vaccinium spp.) under pH stress. Specifically, a comparative transcriptome analysis was conducted on two blueberry varieties: a cultivated blueberry (A) and an acid-tolerant blueberry (B). The aim was to understand the transcriptional responses of these varieties to different pH conditions (pH 4.5 and pH 6.5). Transcriptomic data was extracted from the publicly available GDV database (http://www.vaccinium.org) and normalized to generate a heatmap visualizing gene expression levels. Each pH treatment had four biological replicates for each species, and the numbers in the heatmap represent the sample IDs. The color bar on the right side of the heatmap represents the gene expression levels, with blue indicating low transcript abundance and red indicating high transcript abundance. This study provides valuable insights into the molecular mechanisms underlying blueberry responses to varying pH conditions, particularly focusing on the potential role of VcWOX genes in pH stress adaptation.
