Writing skills: Students should be able to write simple sentences and short paragraphs in English. They should be able to write about personal experiences, daily routines, and basic topics related to their immediate environment. They should also be able to write short messages, notes, and simple letters.

Vocabulary and grammar: Students should be able to understand and use basic vocabulary related to personal information, daily routines, likes and dislikes, numbers, colors, shapes, animals, food, and common objects. They should also be able to understand and use basic grammar structures, such as simple present tense, possessive pronouns, prepositions of place, and question words.

Cultural awareness: Students should be exposed to and learn about the culture and customs of English-speaking countries. They should be able to understand and appreciate similarities and differences between their own culture and English-speaking cultures.
