A demonologist is an individual who studies and specializes in the study of demons, demonology. They may research the history of demons, their characteristics, and how to identify and combat them. Demonologists may also work with individuals who claim to be possessed by demons or haunted by demonic entities, using their knowledge to try and help alleviate these experiences. Some demonologists may also be involved in paranormal investigations and exorcisms.
