Title: The Lost City

FADE IN:

EXT. JUNGLE - DAY

A group of explorers, led by the experienced archaeologist DANIEL, make their way through the thick jungle. They are in search of a lost city that is said to hold great treasures.

DANIEL (to the group) Keep your eyes peeled, everyone. We’re getting close.

The group continues to push through the dense foliage until they come across a massive stone wall with a large gate. DANIEL approaches the gate and examines it closely.

DANIEL (to the group) This is it. We’ve found it.

They open the gate and enter the city. The city is in ruins, but the group can see that it was once a magnificent place. They begin to explore, searching for any clues that might lead them to the treasure.

CUT TO:

INT. TEMPLE - DAY

The group enters a large temple and begins to search for any artifacts that might be of value. Suddenly, they hear a loud rumbling noise.

DANIEL (to the group) What was that?

The group looks around, trying to figure out where the noise is coming from. Suddenly, the floor beneath them begins to shake and they are thrown off balance.

CUT TO:

EXT. CITY - DAY

The entire city begins to shake and crumble. The group runs for cover as the buildings around them collapse.

CUT TO:

INT. TEMPLE - DAY

The temple begins to crumble and the group is trapped inside. They try to find a way out, but the exit is blocked by debris.

DANIEL (to the group) We need to find another way out.

One of the members of the group, JASON, spots an opening in the ceiling.

JASON (to the group) Up there! We can climb out!

The group climbs up and out of the temple just as it collapses completely.

CUT TO:

EXT. CITY - DAY

The group looks around and sees that the entire city has been destroyed. They realize that they will not be able to find the treasure they were searching for.

DANIEL (to the group) Well, we didn’t find the treasure, but we did find something even more valuable. We found each other.

The group nods in agreement and they begin to make their way back through the jungle.

FADE OUT.
