Homologous Recombination of pGEM-T Easy-H1-EGFP-H2 with SS09 in CCB Cells

Since the H1 fragment (500 bp) in plasmid pGEM-T Easy-H1-EGFP-H2 is identical to the ORF56 upstream (500 bp) of the KHV whole genome, and the H2 fragment (500 bp) is identical to the ORF57 downstream (500 bp) of the KHV whole genome, there is a possibility of homologous recombination occurring between plasmid pGEM-T Easy-H1-EGFP-H2 and SS09 in CCB cells. This could result in the replacement of ORF50-57 on the recombinant viral genome with H1-EGFP-H2.
