Last weekend, I went to the city with my parents. It was my first time going there and I was so excited! We left home early in the morning and I kept asking my parents if it was time to go yet.

On our way to the city, my mom got a call on her mobile phone. She talked for a little bit and then hung up. I asked her who it was and she told me it was my aunt. I thought it was cool that my mom could talk to people on her phone while we were driving.

When we finally got to the city, I was amazed at all the tall buildings and bright lights. We walked around and saw lots of stores and restaurants. My favorite part was when we went to a big park and I got to play on the swings.

After a few hours, it was time to go back home. My dad said we had to hurry so we wouldn't get stuck in traffic. We got in the car and started driving. I was a little sad to leave the city, but I was also tired from walking around all day.

On my way home, I thought about all the fun things we did in the city. I was happy that I got to go and see new things. I can't wait to go back again someday!
