Due to the rapid development of the Chinese economy, exchanges between China and the world have become increasingly frequent, leading to a growing demand for learning the Chinese language worldwide. Taking inspiration from the experiences of countries like the United Kingdom, France, Germany, and Spain in promoting their respective languages, China began its endeavor in 2004 to establish non-profit public institutions overseas, known as Confucius Institutes, to promote the Chinese language and culture. By 2013, Confucius Institutes had achieved significant results, maintained stable growth, and exhibited promising prospects worldwide.
