One person card game: Solitaire

Objective: The goal of the game is to move all the cards from the tableau (the seven columns of cards at the bottom) to the foundation (the four piles at the top) in ascending order, starting with the Ace and ending with the King.

Setup:

1. Shuffle a standard 52-card deck.
2. Deal seven columns of cards face-down, with the first column having one card, the second column having two cards, the third column having three cards, and so on until the seventh column has seven cards.
3. Turn the top card of each column face-up.

Gameplay:

1. Move the cards in the tableau to build up the foundation piles in ascending order, starting with the Ace and ending with the King.
2. Cards can be moved from one tableau column to another as long as the card being moved is one rank lower and of a different color than the card it is being placed on. For example, a red 6 can be placed on a black 7.
3. A card can be moved to the foundation pile if it is of the same suit and one rank higher than the top card on the pile. For example, a 2 of hearts can be placed on an Ace of hearts foundation pile.
4. When a tableau column is emptied, a King can be placed on that column.
5. If there are no more moves to be made, draw one card from the deck to the waste pile (the remaining cards not in the tableau or foundation), and continue playing.
6. The game is won when all cards have been moved to the foundation piles in ascending order.

Tips:

• Try to move cards from the tableau to the foundation piles as soon as possible to open up more moves.
• Keep track of the cards in the waste pile and use them strategically to make moves in the tableau or foundation piles.
• Don't be afraid to undo moves if they don't lead to progress.
