This dataset contains a total of 1800 200$times$200 gray-scale images with 300 images for each of the six types of defects scratch patch pitted surface inclusion crazing and rolled-in scale

The images were collected from various sources, including industrial inspection and laboratory experiments, and were labeled by experts in the field. The dataset can be used for developing and testing machine learning models for automated defect detection and classification in manufacturing and quality control processes.
