As a Chinese elementary school student, I wake up early every morning to prepare for school. My parents make sure that I have a healthy breakfast before I head out the door. At school, I study a variety of subjects such as math, science, and English. I enjoy learning English because it is a fun and challenging language. My English teacher always encourages us to practice speaking and writing in English. During recess, I like to play games with my friends and practice speaking English with them. After school, I attend different extracurricular activities such as dancing, painting, or playing an instrument. My parents always remind me to balance my school work and extracurricular activities. At home, I have a lot of homework to complete, but my parents are always there to help me if I need it. I try my best to study hard and learn all that I can so that I can be successful in the future. I am proud to be a Chinese student and to learn English as a second language. I hope to continue to improve my English skills and make new friends from all over the world.
