A cat raised in a cage, No freedom to roam or play, Her world was small and confined, Her spirit struggled to stay.

She longed to stretch and run, To feel the grass beneath her paws, To climb a tree and bask in the sun, To live without any flaws.

But day after day, she stayed, Alone in her tiny space, Her eyes grew dull and tired, Her heart began to race.

One day, a kind soul came, And saw the sadness in her eyes, They opened the cage and set her free, And she soared through the skies.

She ran and jumped and played, Her spirit finally free, She found a home where she belonged, And lived happily ever after, you see.

So let this be a lesson to all, That every creature deserves to be free, And when we open our hearts and minds, We can change the world, just like that cat, you and me.
