Abstract: This paper mainly studies the application of HIV antigen detection in patients with late-stage AIDS. By detecting HIV antigen in 100 patients with late-stage AIDS, it was found that 70 of them were positive, accounting for 70% of the total. In addition, we also found that in patients with late-stage AIDS, the sensitivity and specificity of HIV antigen detection were higher than those of HIV antibody detection. Therefore, HIV antigen detection can be an important detection method, which can improve the detection rate and accuracy of HIV infection in patients with late-stage AIDS.
