Microbiology Paper Proofreading: Enhancing Clarity and Precision
This study investigated the impact of Lactobacillus plantarum MH079448 on the intestinal microbiota structure of Japanese eel juveniles. Cluster and PCoA analyses revealed significant changes in the microbiota composition, particularly in the abundance of Firmicutes, Proteobacteria, Bacteroidetes, and Actinobacteria. These alterations may be associated with the regulation of systemic immune parameters in the eels. The application of MH079448 resulted in a decrease in intestinal flora richness, while diversity and evenness increased. These findings are consistent with previous research by Guo et al. (2020) and suggest that MH079448 may produce organic acids or exopolysaccharides that inhibit other microorganisms, including potential pathogens. Notably, the relative abundance of total probiotics increased after administering Lactobacillus plantarum MH079448.
