Correlation Template Matching: An Object Tracking Technique

Correlation template matching is an object tracking technology that relies on correlation calculation. The processing flow of this method is depicted in Figure R1. Initially, a template needs to be defined. Subsequently, the template is moved pixel by pixel across the image to be tracked, and the correlation between the template and its coverage area is computed. The specific equation for the correlation calculation method is presented as Equation (2).
