Optimizing Cargo Aircraft Delays with Job Shop Scheduling and LEKIN Simulation

Developed a sequencing approach using job shop scheduling and LEKIN simulation to evaluate different service methods. Analyzed data to identify the shortest service total time using methods like 'first come first served', 'smallest critical ratio', and 'earliest due date'. This optimized method resulted in an 8% reduction in cargo aircraft delays and increased efficiency of airport support vehicles.
