Continuing our telephone conversation, as requested, we have evaluated the cleaning costs for September 7th and September 8th. Our evaluation was mainly based on the Ship Oil Pollution Compensation Fund's claims guidelines, and the related materials were determined through market inquiries.
During the site visit, we met with personnel from the cleaning company. They informed us that the oil spill emergency vessel used from September 7th to September 8th was the "Zhonghai Oil 28," and the two working boats were "Xinxing 002" and "Xinxing 003," with power ratings of 219KW, 105KW, and 105KW respectively. We searched for the trajectories of these vessels on the Ship Information Network and noticed that "Zhonghai Oil 28" and "Xinxing 002" frequently arrived near NEWZENBERG. However, there were no trajectories available for "Xinxing 003" before September 14th. Additionally, they claimed that "Zhonghai Oil 28" has been under surveillance since the cleaning operation, remaining on standby.
Nevertheless, based on the claimant's claim list and the aforementioned information provided, and considering the uncertainty of the actual occurrence of costs, our evaluation results are as follows:
- Cost for September 7th: $142,398.77
- Cost for September 8th: $101,333.00
Please refer to the assessment form for more details.
The subsequent vessel standby cost is $4,982.25 per day. The cost for the oil containment boom is $3,560 per day.
Please note that the above evaluation is solely based on the claim list provided by the cleaning company, and we are not responsible for verifying its accuracy.
If you have any further instructions, please feel free to contact us at any time.
