In order to assess the regenerative capabilities of endometrial organoids, a mouse model of endometrial damage was created. Matrigel, as well as complexes EO and HEO, were subsequently injected into the injured endometrial tissue. Seven days after endometrial damage, the damaged endometrium (referred to as the Natural Repair group, NR) was observed to be thinner, with a reduction in the number of endometrial glands, and pronounced fibrosis compared to the normal endometrium (Figure 6a-c). However, the endometriums treated with the HEO complex showed a noticeably thicker endometrium and a greater development of endometrial glands (indicated by black arrows in Figure 6a-c) compared to the groups treated with NR, Matrigel, and EO (Figure 6a-c). Additionally, the presence of light green color (representing collagen) was observed to cover a significantly smaller area in the HEO group compared to the NR group (Figure 6a-c), indicating that there was less fibrosis after the injection of the HEO complex. Meanwhile, our results show a greater endometrial repair capacity of the EO complex than Matrigel (Figure 6a-c)
