The fuel-contaminated cargo was stored at the open yard in the #D1 section of the terminal. Due to concerns about pollution, our surveyors have been diligently monitoring the condition of the fuel-contaminated cargo. On the afternoon of July 20, we discovered a significant fuel leak from the bottom of the cargo pile. We immediately notified the terminal, who promptly cleaned up the spilled fuel. To prevent any further spread of the fuel with rainwater, the terminal placed waterproof sandbags around the cargo pile and deployed oil-absorbent mats within the enclosure.

According to the information provided by the terminal, the normal cargo unloaded from hold #5 has been weighed, totaling 6632.6 metric tons. Considering the stowage plan, which indicates a total cargo volume of 10800 Mt for hold 5, it is estimated that the quantity of contaminated cargo amounts to 4167 Mt.
