Thank you for reaching out and introducing yourself as my child's Honors 9 English Literature teacher. I am pleased to hear that you have been impressed with the class so far and that the students seem diligent and attentive. It is reassuring to know that this class is vital in preparing them for AP exams.

I understand the importance of reading analysis and expository writing skills for the AP English Language exam, as well as for other exams that require writing. I will definitely emphasize the significance of working hard in this class to my child, as it will help them in their future AP classes as well.

I am also glad to hear that the class will be studying classic pieces of literature such as Of Mice and Men, Shakespeare's Julius Caesar, and To Kill a Mockingbird. These books have been widely studied in the US and I believe they will greatly contribute to my child's understanding of life and the world around them.
