In summary, we have found that the fractional variation of the continuum and the fractional EW variation of the C IV BALs exhibit anti-correlations in four HiBAL subsamples. However, no significant correlation was observed in five LoBAL subsamples. This statistical finding demonstrates the widespread impact of ionizing continuum variability on the variation of outflow absorption. Further analysis of individual spectra is required to provide a better explanation for the latter result.
