Interestingly, unlike other materials and bulk gallium nitride, we observed significant saturation absorption effects at both 532 nanometers and 355 nanometers. According to Table 2, the saturation intensity at 532 nm is comparable to that of oxygen and carbon dioxide, with a maximum transmittance of 150%. This is higher than the maximum transmittance of oxygen (110%) and carbon dioxide (120%) reported in articles 16 and 17, indicating a relative advantage of gallium nitride nanowires in saturable absorber devices.
