Dear Prof. XXX,

Thank you for reading this email. The PhD application of KAUST is open now and I have completed the PhD application form on the KAUST official website. However, I met a problem in choosing the type of my master degree. The type of master degree in the english copy of my diploma is Master of Engineering, which might be equivalent to Master of Technology or Master of Science in Engineering. However, there is no available option for Master of Engineering in the application form. I have written an email to the KAUST admissions to enquire about the solution. I am very sorry that I can't submit my application now for this reason. I will submit my application as soon as I solve this problem.

Besides I found some degree programs may require an assessment entrance exam as the basis for admission. I didn't find relevant information about this on the official website of the Biological and Environmental Science and Engineering Division. Therefore, I want to inquire whether there is an assessment entrance exam for the application of Environmental Science and Engineering. And is there anything else I need to be aware of in the application process?​​
