As the main body responsible for cultivating financial and economic talents, universities urgently need to analyze the characteristics of the current economy and future development trends in order to strategically arrange new financial and economic disciplines and develop new talent cultivation programs. By analyzing the background and characteristics of the emergence of new finance and economics, this paper proposes the requirements and reform path for cultivating new financial and economic talents.
