Addressing Reviewer Comment on ICP, XPS, and EDS Data Correlation in Electrocatalytic Study
Thank you for your insightful comment regarding the correlation between ICP, XPS, and EDS data in our study. We understand the importance of comparing these techniques to gain a comprehensive understanding of our findings. To address your suggestion, we have included a table (Table 1) in the supplementary information that presents a direct comparison of the ICP, XPS, and EDS data. This table provides a clear overview of the results obtained from each technique, allowing for a direct comparison of the different data sets.
The table demonstrates that the results obtained from EDS and ICP analyses are consistent, indicating a reliable and accurate measurement. This consistency further strengthens the validity of our results. Additionally, the contents of Pd and Mo obtained from XPS are higher compared to EDS and ICP, suggesting the enrichment of Pd and Mo on the surface of the particles. This surface enrichment is crucial for the enhanced electrocatalytic performance observed in our study.
We have also revised the relevant content in the manuscript to incorporate this additional information and analysis. By including this table and its interpretation, we aim to enhance the clarity and comprehensibility of our research findings. We believe that this addition further contributes to the quality and validity of our manuscript.
We are grateful for your valuable input and your support throughout the review process. We hope this enhancement addresses your concerns and contributes to a more thorough understanding of our research.
