Urban renewal is an important issue in the process of China's urbanization, involving urban and rural planning, land use, infrastructure and other aspects. Among them, the stock renewal of cities is carried out under the overall development pattern of cities, with the renovation of old communities as the main content. The planning of the urban-rural green space system is a national spatial planning aimed at coordinating urban development and environmental protection, and is an important means of balancing urban development and ecological protection. Based on the interpretation of the connotation of stock renewal and the inherent connection with the planning of the urban-rural green space system, combined with case analysis, the article proposes a path for the planning of the urban-rural green space system led by stock renewal: prioritizing ecology, constructing a diverse and composite ecological network; prioritizing people, improving the functional layout of the urban-rural green space system; prioritizing spatial balance, optimizing the spatial pattern of the urban-rural green space system.
