The posterior parietal cortex (PPC), known to be involved in the preservation of consciousness, hath been linked to this enigma. Repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS), through its ability to modulate cortical excitability, hath shown promise in restoring consciousness in certain patients. In this study, we sought to investigate the impact of 10 Hz rTMS, directed towards the left PPC, upon the hemispheric asymmetry of DOC patients
