Sampling Point Challenges for Raw Soybeans, Crude Oil, and Soybean Meal

During an on-site inspection, we observed that the raw soybeans were sampled after the impurity removal process. Mr. Geng informed us that there is no dedicated sampling point on the conveyor belt or before the impurity removal process. Based on our survey, it appears that the only potential location to sample the cargo is through the maintenance hole, which may not be ideal.

In contrast, the crude oil was sampled at a designated sample point located just before it enters the storage tanks.

The soybean meal sampling occurs after the packaging process, with samples being taken directly from the packaging bags.

The lack of a dedicated sampling point for raw soybeans before impurity removal presents a challenge in obtaining representative samples. This could potentially impact the accuracy of quality analysis and should be addressed to ensure reliable sampling procedures.
