Human Capital and AI Coordination: Evidence from Chinese Cities

The economic development in different city divisions varies significantly due to geographic location. To assess the city ranking, we refer to the '2020 China City Business Attractiveness Ranking' and create a mean trend graph based on the rankings of these cities (see Fig. 2). The graph indicates a consistent upward trend in the coordinated development of human capital and AI across cities with different ranks. However, the disparity between cities becomes more pronounced, following a pattern where higher-ranked cities exhibit stronger coordinated development.
