The Correlation Between City Ranking and Coordinated Development of Human Capital and AI in China

This study investigates the impact of city ranking on the coordinated development of human capital and artificial intelligence (AI) in China. Recognizing the significant variance in economic development across cities due to geographic location, we utilize the '2020 China City Business Attractiveness Ranking' to categorize cities. A mean trend graph (Fig.2) based on these rankings illustrates the development trajectory. Analysis reveals a consistent upward trend in the coordinated development of human capital and AI across all city ranks. However, a clear disparity exists between cities of different ranks, with higher-ranked cities demonstrating a greater degree of coordinated development. This suggests a strong positive correlation between city ranking and the successful integration of human capital and AI.
