ACT I

Scene 1

(A, B, C, D, and E are sitting in the school library, studying for their upcoming exams. A looks tense and nervous, while E looks bored and disinterested.)

A: (to herself) I have to do well in these exams. My future depends on it.

B: (noticing A’s anxiety) Hey, A, don’t worry too much. We’re all in this together.

C: (rolling her eyes) Speak for yourself, B. I’m not here to make friends. I’m here to win.

D: (softly) I just hope I can pass.

E: (yawning) Can we take a break? This is so boring.

B: (encouragingly) Come on, guys, we can do this. Let’s work together and help each other out.

Scene 2

(A, B, C, D, and E are now working together, discussing their study notes and helping each other with difficult questions. A and B are leading the group, while C is still competitive and dismissive of the others’ efforts.)

ACT III

Scene 1

(A, B, C, D, and E are all now in their final year of high school. They are sitting in the school hall, waiting for the announcement of the top students in their year.)

A: (anxiously) I hope I make it to the top 10.

B: (optimistically) You will, A. You’ve worked so hard.

C: (smirking) I’m going to be number one, just watch.

D: (quietly) I’m happy as long as I pass.

E: (determinedly) I’m going to surprise everyone this time.

Scene 2

(The results are announced. A, B, C, D, and E are all listening attentively.)

Announcer: And now, for the top 10 students in this year’s graduating class.

A: (holding her breath)

B: (whispering) Come on, A.

Scene 4

(The scene ends with A, B, C, D, and E all walking off into the sunset, ready to face the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.)

A: (voiceover) We may have started as strangers, but we ended up as friends. And together, we achieved something great.

B: (voiceover) We learned that success isn’t just about individual achievement, but about teamwork and support.
